The national gathering of Gloster breeders, judged to international standards.
As part of its support and encouragement for Gloster breeders in Morocco, the Moroccan Canary Club has announced cash prizes at competitions:
🏆 2,500 dirhams for the winner of the Best in Show category
🥇 1,000 dirhams for the winner of the Best Opposite category
An initiative aimed at rewarding excellence and taking this passion to a higher level.
Building on the success of the first edition, the club is preparing an even more ambitious second edition, dedicated to competition and exchange between breeders.
Expected international jury: David Rands (England) and Bert Munneke (Netherlands), with the presence of Mitchell Cowen, international ambassador of the Gloster breed.
Goals: strengthen Gloster breeding in Morocco, raise the level of competition to international standards and encourage exchange between breeders.
The city of Agadir hosted the first edition of the Moroccan Gloster Cup, a major milestone for the breed in Morocco. The event recorded a record entry of 478 birds — the largest competition of its kind at national level.
Judging was entrusted to the French international judge Stéphane Burdin, an IGBA member, according to rigorous international standards — in a friendly atmosphere and a perfectly organised exhibition space.

At the end of the 2025 season, in recognition of outstanding commitment and results, the club’s board decided to award a prize of honour to the best Gloster canary enthusiast in Morocco, based on combined results across several national competitions.
This award goes to Mr Eddami Saifddine, whose consistency and level of performance marked the season — an encouragement to pursue excellence in the service of this noble variety.
